It was the 5th ostentatious successful year of National Level Technical Fiesta of our institute i.e. PRAGYAA 2009 , which was equally proficient in implementing its theme of Reform...Research...Recycle...The three auspicious days from 6 March - 8 March, 2009 saw the biggest ever Pragyaa. It was an event that was home for over 34 technical events, an event that attracted larger number of Companies, an event that had a greater volume of participation from outside, an event that catered a bigger number of visitors, an event that was enriched by the presence of many multifaceted personalities, an event that was remarkably covered by the media, and a lot more to say.

       Pragyaa means ‘Wisdom by which truth can be seen’ and it was this wisdom that helped us foresee the adverse effects of Poor Waste management. This made us take an oath of spreading the awareness of Waste management on a global scale. Thus the tagline of Pragyaa - 09 took shape as,

       Pragyaa had in itself so many of features that made the event so distinctly special that we definitely felt much elevated being a part of it. PRAGYAA was housed with; the online section of Pragyaa - e-Pragyaa that attracted offshore participants without wanting them to be present in our campus during Pragyaa; Krishi Pragyaa - that had a number of sub events to get the technology closer to the farmers; Technical Events - those were so well diversified to attract participation from every single discipline of Engineering; Business Events - to attract the B School grads, Science Events - to provide a platform to the school students motivating their Science skills, Social Services - that include Blood donation camps and technology transfer programs.
