   Ever dreamt of being a Michael Schumacher or a Lewis Hamilton???

   Ya , then here is your chance to be like one of your idols. We give you the platform to bring out the hidden F1 champ in you, to burn rubber on our circuit and prove your very own existence in this world. Bring in your mean machine, rock the track , overcome the hurdles ,control your car and write your DESTINY.
    Remember-only the BEST of the BEST would survive the ultimate challenge.

ROBO[car] SPECIFICATIONS:

•Car should fit in a box of dimensions (30x30x30) cm at any and every given point of time during your attempt (don’t bring in your ROBOWAR kit here).
• The external device which is used to control the car manually is not included in the size constraint.
• The car must use only electrical batteries as a source of energy or supply will be provided (don’t use solar bat ’cause  we cant control sun).
• IC engines are a hell no. Participants can use one or more dc/stepper motor (thers no room for anything else).
• The voltage anywhere in the car should not be more than 24V at any point of time (don’t try to blow up your car).
• All cars have to be necessarily controlled by some wireless/wired mechanism throughout the race (of course you won’t manually push the car round the track).

TRACK (F1 standard!):

•The race will be carried out on different surfaces, consisting of many hurdles and zones (and WE MEAN those obstacles, don’t take them for granted).
• The track is 40 cm wide and is more widened at the twist and turns (its more than enough).
• The track may PROBABLY have a water hurdle as a pond with a depth of 2.5 cm (be prepared to dive in).
• Voltage supply(D.C): 24v will be provided(max-24 , min-0). Arena of speedster: [3.5m * 7.5m](WOW!!!!!!).

 


Rules:

 

    General(Bernie’s stuff):

 

• If a participant wants to compete with two cars with or without changing team   members then there should not be reuse of any components except for   batteries. [registration to be done each time]( make us rich).

• In case of tie, the teams will be given another chance to find a winner   amongst them ( just in case).

• Cars will have to be demonstrated to judges [who will evaluate them for other   prizes] at a time and date specified in the schedule which will be put up (you   know how judges are, right?).

• The teams are allowed to change a part of car, if damaged during their   attempt [not consider as hand touch but timer will not stop].

• Participants can replace their batteries, if required, but they should be same   as the earlier ones (like ‘seeta’ and ‘geeta’).

• Any team that is not ready to play at the time specified will be disqualified   from the competition automatically (SORRY!!)

 

Eligibility:

• One team shall consist of maximum [3-4] members”(fine???).

• Team can be formed by the students of different colleges (unity in diversity).

• The organizers reserve all the rights to change any or all of the above rules   as they deem fit. Change in any rule, if any will be highlighted on the website   (OUR GAME, OUR RULES).

Judging Criteria:

•The race would be divided into 2 phases or 2 ROUNDS.
•Crack the 1st round one in least possible time to go to the second round.
• The track would be divided into several zones known as checkpoints.
• If you fall off the track you will have to start from the recent checkpoint.
• A maximum of 3 attempts would be awarded including the default 1st attempt   for  each checkpoint .
• You can even skip the obstacles but with a time penality which may vary from
   obstacle to obstacle .
• A maximum of 3 hand touches are allowed during the entire run of each   round or else you would be disqualified.

•Hand touch is to be considered as an opportunity to repair any damage to the   car during the race.

•Do not touch the car yourself in any case other than mentioned above.If your   car falls off the track we will place it back at the checkpoint and not   you else if   you touch it , it would be considered as a hand touch.
• The entire track should be covered in a specified interval of time which would   be given on the raceday and it may be different for each round.
